InCompass at Avilés’ Cultural Black Night: Local Info-Day and last RIG meeting

On 28 November, the Cultural Municipal Foundation of Aviles City Council organised the InCompass Local Info-Day and their last RIG meeting.

The fifth RIG meeting took place in the morning in the Cultural Factory. As in the previous meetings, this encounter encompassed relevant members and representatives from the triple helix, with interests in the creative sector in the region, including higher educational institutions, public authorities, individual entrepreneurs and associations, business centers and incubators. On that occasion, the InCompass Best Practices Toolkit was presented, and the RIG members were also informed that the Avilés Study Visit report has been translated into Spanish and that the new materials are available on the project website. In addition, partners discussed about the sustainability of the group beyond the project lifetime in order to foster the regional creative sector activity and further cooperation. Finally, the active collaboration of the RIG members in the finalisation of the Regional Implementation Plan was also commented.

During the event, the main facts and outputs of the project were presented to the general public, including the InCompass Best Practices Toolkit. The info-day was advertised on InCompass Facebook and Twitter, as well as in the Cultural factory social media. The event was also broadcasted online.
